We The Curious is an idea and a place for everyone. It's about asking questions, getting creative and testing things out. Science is collaborative, living and a vital part of culture - and the exhibits, events and activities aim to stoke curiosity in all of us.With over 200  exhibits, We The Curious is a must-see for all ages and takes you on an incredible journey exploring the inner workings of the world around us.

Join Morph and friends in Aardman’s exclusive exhibition and become an animator for the day. Be awed by icy bodies and cosmic rays, walk through a tornado or cover yourself from head to toe in a giant bubble!

Plus, there is always something new to discover with the ever-changing programme of special activities.

Project What If
Project What If is the first major science centre exhibition based on the curiosity of a city, based on gathering over 10,000 questions from people in every postcode of Bristol.
You’ll find the ground floor transformed into a space where art and science meet, with 69  exhibits themed around 7 very different questions.

Experience the 3D Planetarium
Take a trip to the outer reaches of the universe in a show that will have you seeing stars! Sit back and enjoy as the Live Science Team wow you with their amazing astronomical knowledge - perfect for young and old alike. The Planetarium is the UK’s first 3D Planetarium, providing an even more stunning immersive experience with full-surround sound and awe-inspiring sights from around the universe!

We The Curious is a fantastic day out for all the family to enjoy in the heart of Bristol’s historic Harbourside area, where you can also discover Brunel’s SS Great Britain and a host of cafés, bars and restaurants.

Find out about the activities We The Curious will be running in their spaces once they reopen this summer. All these activities are drop-in and included in a day ticket.

Impossible, Possible
How do people feel when faced with a seemingly impossible problem? Activities running in We The Curious' spaces this summer include:

Moo-Less Milk
Can milk be made without a cow? Learn to make oat milk from scratch and explore the question, what is milk anyway?

Impossible Plants
Can plants survive without water or soil? This might seem impossible, but perhaps not. Visitors  can head to the Greenhouse to explore what plants need to survive and learn how some plants achieve the impossible.

Shopping Trolley Secrets
Is there a way to prevent diseases just by analysing shopping habits? The Open City Lab has been transformed into the 'mikro market,' where visitors can shop and chat about  whether they would share their shopping trolley secrets.

Hidden Health
Hidden Health returns to art gallery space ‘The Box’ for the reopening. Attendees can play with the arcade machine, cuddle a giant soft sculpture, and get involved in health research.

Chain Reaction
Can a team create an elaborate chain reaction machine? In the Studio, visitors can get creative with dominoes, balls, and other contraptions to build part of a larger machine
